Tomato Uthappam

Tomato uthappam is very simple and easy to make. The kids love the color of the uthappam, so they love to eat it.

Here's how to make it...

Ingredients

Idli batter                                     2 cups
Tomatoes                                           1 sliced thin
Green Chillies                                    1 finely chopped
Cilantro                                              1 tsp finely chopped

Method

Heat the dosa tawa in the stove,  pour one big ladle of batter on it. Make sure uthappam is thick and not thin like dosa.

Now arrange the tomatoes and sprinkle chillies and cilantro over the batter, and a few drops of oil all over the edges or you can use non-stick spray.

Cook on both sides evenly and yummy tomato uthappam is ready to be served.

It can be served with any chutney or sambar, but can be had without any side dish.
